Playdate @ the Vader's home.

Oh my!

We hosted our first playdate with 15 moms and babies (between 4 and 8 months old) from one of my mommy's groups. It was a lot of fun!
I made cupcakes for first time in my entire life and I think they came out pretty good than now David keep calling me
"Margarita" Stewart (the mexican version of Martha Stewart).

I think we will do it again!

Happy 4 months my dear love!

Gracie turns 4 months today!!! She is growing and growing and I just wish she could be a baby forever!!!
She has her 4 month check up next monday to get her shoots and see how much she has growing in 2 months, I'm excited!

Happy birthday my princess!
We will love you forever
we will like you for always
as long as we are living
Our baby you will be.

Angels at the Angel's Stadium

After our successful night we headed off to the Angel's stadium to watch the baseball game between the Angels and the Athletics. We went with our good friends Amie, Cortney, Larry and their little angel, Easton. Poor baby he was upset because it was very hot.

My angel was a little bit fussy too because of the sun but other than that I think we had a great time.

It was a beautiful and warm day!

10 feet away

Ever since she was born I knew I wasn't going to be able to avoid this day.

Last night was the first time Gracie slept in her own room. My husband kept telling me, "this is the best for her", "is not about us, is about her", "she is just 10 feet away, we can be there in 2 seconds" but I missed that little body next to my side of the bed just the fact that I knew i could reach with my arm, I couldn't sleep just thinking what if i can't hear if she is crying which wasn't going to happen because the baby monitor was too loud that literally you could even hear the neighbors talking or the dogs barking across the street.
She seemed not to noticed the change, she slept soundly and don't get me wrong, is not that I don't like that, I love when she sleep good but maybe I was expecting she would get a little bit upset.

Didn't she miss her mom?

This morning she woke up in such a great mood, she was on her crib "talking" with her toys, "singing", laughing ... It's all good as long as she is happy!

New Skills

Gracie has been doing GREAT the last couple of days, she is smiling all the time, laughing loud, grabbing things including mommy's hair and she is rolling back to tummy and tummy to back.
She didn't like tummy time but now it seems like she is getting use to it and enjoying it.
She loves to play with the toys that hang from her play gym, she shake them so hard that if the poor toys could run they would!
I love to watch how fast she is growing and learning new things everyday. I love my pumpkin! (calabazita in Spanish)

Spring Training '09

Spring Training is here!!!

Our good friends the Laudick's invited us to the baseball game, Dodgers vs White Sox @ Camelback Ranch the new stadium in Glendale, AZ.
The weather couldn't be more perfect! 85 degrees, sunny sunday!

We got to sit on the grass, drink beer, eat peanuts and a delicious rosted corn!
Jordin Sparks sang the National Anthem and just after she finished, 4 airplanes from Luke Air Force Base flew over our heads.

That was Gracie's first baseball game!!! She laid on the grass with the sun shade that Rob & Shawna had ready for her, that was a HUGE life saver since it was very sunny but she got a sun burn anyway. Poor baby, she was exhausted, slept in the car all the way home. When we got home, we gave her a bath, feed her and she fell asleep almost immediately. She slept straight from 6:30pm to 4:30am!!!

We had a lot of fun. Thank you guys, let's do it again!
